The 2300 sits on Wilshire Boulevard near 23rd Street, in the heart of Santa Monica's 90403. Trader Joe's is on the ground floor and Whole Foods is across the street, so the weekly shop is simply downstairs. Montana Avenue's boutiques and cafes are about half a mile away, Third Street Promenade and the beach are roughly two miles west, and the Santa Monica Pier is about three. UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, Equinox, Erewhon, and Santa Monica College are all close by, with UCLA in Westwood about four miles away and LAX about eleven.
